Shadz Automotive web design
A local workshop.
A clear route to book.
A distinctive automotive website for Palmerston North, with clear service pages and a straightforward booking request journey.
Shadz Automotive
The challenge
For a local automotive workshop, a website needs to explain the work and make it easy to arrange a visit. Shadz Automotive is based in Cloverlea, Palmerston North, offering WOF inspections, servicing, repairs and specialist vehicle work. Those services need clear explanations for drivers who may know what their car is doing, but not which repair to ask for.
The customer journey also needs to set the right expectation: a preferred date and time is a request for the workshop to confirm. The site keeps that distinction visible alongside the option to call and discuss the vehicle directly.

The solution
FernByte built a responsive website around Shadz's black, cyan and lime identity, with a bold automotive hero and straightforward service information. The homepage brings the workshop's services, contact details, opening hours and booking request together in one place.
Dedicated pages explain WOF inspections, car servicing, and repairs and diagnostics in more detail. Each gives drivers a relevant next step and practical guidance on what to tell the workshop. On mobile, expandable service sections keep the overview compact while leaving the detail available.

The finished website
The live site gives customers a direct route from exploring a service to requesting a visit. The booking form collects contact details, a registration plate, the work needed and a preferred date and arrival time, with space for additional notes. Customers review their details before sending a request; Shadz then confirms the appointment.
Phone links offer an alternative for people who prefer to talk. The workshop address and directions links help visitors plan their trip to Bennett Street. Opening hours are shown beside the request form and in the contact information, so customers can check when the workshop is open.

Service pages and enquiries
The three service pages have their own URLs, page titles and descriptions, rather than relying on the homepage alone. Local service copy identifies Palmerston North and Cloverlea, while page links connect the explanations back to the booking journey. Questions on those pages address practical concerns such as what happens after a request is sent.
The mobile layout puts call and booking actions within easy reach. The emphasis is on helping visitors understand their options and choose a next step, with clear wording throughout the form about workshop confirmation.
